Match the roll to your equipment

The single most common cause of label downtime is a roll that doesn’t match the printer or applicator: wrong core size, wrong winding direction, wrong outer diameter. Choose a facestock that runs clean

High-volume applicators are unforgiving of stock that curls, tears, or leaves adhesive residue. A quality coated paper feeds cleanly for interior use; BOPP synthetic film runs reliably where labels face moisture or cold. Getting the facestock and liner right prevents jams and the sensor misreads that stop a line, which matters far more at 1,000 labels an hour than at 50.

Make barcodes scan on the first pass

In a warehouse, a code that needs a second scan multiplies across thousands of parcels into real lost time. Print barcodes by thermal-transfer for durability, size and place them to standard, and verify them so they read on handheld and inline scanners alike.
